I'm Jill Rothenberg

Creator of the Pilates Pro Mentorship, and someone who never imagined I’d end up here

It all started when I decided to bet on myself—to take a chance, stop looking back, and see what could happen if I gave this career my all. I was shy, quiet, and definitely not the type who imagined teaching movement in front of a room full of people. I didn’t think of myself as especially creative or bold. But I was curious—and that curiosity led me to sign up for a Pilates mat certification.

I fell in love with it. That first step turned into a comprehensive training, then a full-time role at a Pilates studio doing what I thought was my dream job—teaching, mentoring, helping with certifications. I loved the work, but by 2019, I was burning out. I was working six days a week, and the spark that made me fall in love with teaching was starting to fade. I knew I couldn’t keep going like that.

So I made another leap—this time on my own. I started teaching private clients from home, launched a virtual platform, and ran around the city teaching in studios, hosting events, and leading corporate classes. It wasn’t always easy, but it gave me the freedom I craved—and reminded me why I love this work.

Today, I’ve built a business that aligns with who I am. I plan classes with ease, adapt to different spaces and styles, and fill my schedule with sold-out events and waitlisted sessions. But most importantly, I feel confident, fulfilled, and inspired again.

I created the Pilates Pro Mentorship because I know what it feels like to be unsure, overworked, or stuck—and I also know what’s possible on the other side. If you’re ready to take that next step, I’m here for you. Let’s do this together.
